botox

Botox is a highly purified protein preparation .It is used on areas of the face such as frown lines and crows feet ,marionette lines ,nasolabial folds and so on that are caused by the action of underlying tiny facial muscles . Dr. Jindal is an advanced user of Botox and is probably the only one available in Ludhiana to use it for Upper as well as lower face. After treatment the overlying skin remains smooth and unwrinkled while the untreated facial muscles contract normally. Botox does not produce numbness or disturbance of sensation as there is no affect on the sensory fibres.

Treatment takes approximately 30 minutes . The effects last for 3-6 months. And You can resume normal activities immediately.

As Botox is only effective for wrinkles that are caused by muscle contraction, Dr. Jindal recommends other treatments to be used concurrently, such as Dermal Fillers or laser resurfacing, to achieve the results you desire.

breast agumentation2

For many women, the results of breast augmentation surgery can be satisfying, even exhilarating, as they learn to appreciate their new, fuller appearance.

Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a woman’s breast for a number of reasons
To enhance the body contour of a woman who, for personal reasons, feels that her breast size is too small
To restore breast volume lost due to weight loss or following pregnancy
To achieve better symmetry when breasts are moderately disproportionate in size and shape
To improve the shape of breasts that are sagging or have lost firmness, sometimes used in conjunction with a breast lift procedure
To provide the foundation of a breast contour when a breast has been removed or disfigured by surgery to treat breast cancer
To improve breast appearance or create the appearance of a breast that is missing or disfigured due to trauma or congenital and developmental abnormalities
The choice of saline or silicone, implant size, shape and other features will be determined based on your breast anatomy, body type and your desired increase in size. Your lifestyle, goals and personal preferences, as well as Dr. Jindal’s recommendations and sound surgical judgment, are also determining factors.

Breast implants vary both by filler (saline vs. silicone gel) and in size, but there are additional features to consider:
Texture: the implant shell may be smooth or textured
Shape: the implant may have a round profile or one that is anatomic (teardrop or tapered shape)
Profile: the implant may have a low, medium or high projection (the depth of the implant from the base to the highest or most forward point of the implant curve)
Diameter: the width of the implant measured across its base (the side of the implant that will be positioned over the chest wall)
You’ll want to discuss the pros and cons of these alternatives before surgery to make sure you fully understand the implications of the procedure Dr. Jindal recommends for you. You should be aware that breast implants are not guaranteed to last a lifetime and future surgery may be required to replace one or both implants.

WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO BREAST FEED WITH IMPLANTS?
Breast implants do not generally interfere with a woman’s ability to breast feed, nor do they present a health hazard during pregnancy to a woman or her baby. However, pregnancy and the associated changes to a woman’s body may alter the results of any breast surgery, including surgery to place breast implants.

HOW MUCH DOES BREAST AUGMENTATION COST ?
The price of breast augmentation surgery varies depending on the surgeon and the various fees associated with the facility, anesthesia, and your choice of saline or silicone implants. Silicone gel implants carry a higher cost than saline. We are happy to discuss the cost of breast implants at our office over the phone or in your consultation.

BREAST IMPLANT PLACEMENT AND INCISIONS
The method of inserting and positioning your implant will depend on your anatomy and Dr. Jindal’s recommendation. The incision can be made either in the underlying crease where the breast meets the chest or around the areola (the dark skin surrounding the nipple). Every effort will be made to assure that the incision is placed so resulting scars will be as inconspicuous as possible.

Working through the incision, he will lift your breast tissue and skin to create a pocket, either directly behind the breast tissue (sub-mammary or sub-glandular placement) or beneath the pectoral muscle and on top of the chest wall (sub-pectoral placement). Once the implant is positioned within this pocket, the incisions are closed with sutures and covered with surgical tape. A mildly compressive gauze bandage will be applied over your breasts to help with healing

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY LIKE FOLLOWING BREAST AUGMENTATION?
The surgery usually takes approximately two hours to complete. You’re likely to feel tired and sore for a few days following your surgery, but you’ll be up and around in 24 to 48 hours. There are restrictions in heavy lifting and exercise for the first two weeks, and certain exercises are avoided for 6 weeks.

Within a few days, the gauze dressings will be removed and you will be placed into a surgical bra. You should wear it as directed. You may also experience a burning sensation in your nipples for about two weeks, but this will subside on its own. Your stitches are absorbable and beneath the skin, so they will not require removal. The swelling in your breasts may take a few weeks to disappear and, over this time, your breasts will become more natural in appearance and feel.

Your scars will become pink in color over several weeks. After several months, your scars will begin to fade, although they will never disappear completely.

You should be able to return to work within approximately one week, depending on the level of activity required for your job.

breast metopexy

BREAST MASTOPEXY
WHAT IS A MASTOPEXY?

Mastopexy is an aesthetic (cosmetic) surgical procedure aimed at lifting and reshaping sagging breasts to a rejuvenated shape and contour.
Factors such as pregnancy, nursing, and the force of gravity can cause the breasts to fall. As the skin loses its elasticity, the breasts often lose their shape and firmness and begin to sag. Breast lift, or Mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts — at least, for a time. (No surgery can permanently delay the effects of gravity.)
A breast lift can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple; and lift it to a more satisfactory position, if it is too low. If your breasts are small or have lost volume, for example, after pregnancy, breast implants inserted in conjunction with Mastopexy can increase both their firmness and size. If you’re considering a breast lift, a consultation with Dr. Jindal will give you a basic understanding of the procedure–when it can help, how it’s performed, and what results you can expect.

Many women seek breast lift because pregnancy and nursing have left them with stretched skin and less volume in their breasts. However, if you’re planning to have more children, it may be a good idea to postpone your breast lift. While there are no special risks that affect future pregnancies (for example, Mastopexy usually doesn’t interfere with breast-feeding), pregnancy is likely to stretch your breasts again and offset the results of the procedure

RECOVERY FOLLOWING BREAST LIFT
After surgery, you’ll wear an elastic bandage over gauze dressings. Your breasts will be mildly bruised, swollen, and uncomfortable for a day or two, but the pain shouldn’t be severe. Any discomfort you do feel can be relieved with medications prescribed by Dr. Jindal.

Within a few days, the bandages or surgical bra will be replaced by a soft support bra. You’ll need to wear this bra around the clock for six weeks. The stitches are absorbable and beneath the skin so they will not need to be removed.

Healing is a gradual process. Although you will be up and about in a day or two, don’t plan on returning to work for a few days, depending on how you feel. And avoid lifting anything over your head for three to four weeks.

We at Sno will make every effort to make your scars as inconspicuous as possible. Still, it’s important to remember that breast lift scars are permanent and everyone heals their scars differently. They will remain pink for months, and then gradually become less obvious, sometimes eventually fading to thin white lines. Fortunately, the scars can usually be placed so that you can wear even low-cut tops.

breast reduction

Women with large, heavy breasts may experience several health concerns related to their breasts such as back pain, neck pain, grooves in the shoulders from bra straps, pain in the breasts and rashes under the breasts. A breast reduction is an operation aimed at removing excessive breast tissue and fatty tissue in order to leave the remaining breast in proportion with the rest of the body. The nipple is usually elevated and the shape of the breast improved

liposuction

Liposuction is a very popular procedure that can help sculpt the body by removing unwanted fat from specific areas, including the abdomen, hips, flanks, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, and neck. During the past decade, liposuction, which is also known as lipoplasty, suction lipectomy, or liposculpture, has benefited from several new refinements.

Today, a number of new techniques, including power-assisted lipoplasty (PAL), the tumescent technique, and the super-wet technique, are helping to provide selected patients with more precise results and quicker recovery times. Although no type of liposuction is a substitute for dieting and exercise, liposuction can remove stubborn areas of fat that don’t respond to traditional weight-loss methods. The best results are obtained in patients who utilize liposuction in conjunction with diet and exercise

rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, or surgery to reshape the nose, is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip. It may also correct a birth defect or injury, or help relieve some breathing problems.
After surgery, small burst blood vessels may appear as tiny red spots on the skin’s surface; these are usually minor but may be permanent. As for scarring, when Rhinoplasty is performed from inside the nose, there is no visible scarring at all; when an “open” technique is used, or when the procedure calls for the narrowing of flared nostrils, the small scars on the base of the nose are usually not visible.
In your initial consultation, Dr. Jindal will ask what you’d like your nose to look like, evaluate the structure of your nose and face, and discuss the possibilities with you. He will also explain the factors that can influence the procedure and the results. These factors include the structure of your nasal bones and cartilage, the shape of your face, the thickness of your skin, your age, and your expectations.

ABOUT RHINOPLASTY SURGERY
Rhinoplasty usually takes an hour or two, though complicated procedures may take longer. During surgery the skin of the nose is separated from its supporting framework of bone and cartilage, which is then sculpted to the desired shape. The nature of the sculpting will depend on your problem and your surgeon’s preferred technique. Finally, the skin is re-draped over the new framework.

When the surgery is complete, a splint will be applied to help your nose maintain its new shape. Nasal packs or soft plastic splints also may be placed in your nostrils to stabilize the septum, the dividing wall between the air passages.

RECOVERY FOLLOWING RHINOPLASTY SURGERY
After surgery-particularly during the first twenty-four hours-your face will feel puffy, your nose may ache, and you may have a dull headache. You can control any discomfort with the pain medication. Plan on staying in bed with your head elevated (except for going to the bathroom) for the first day.

You’ll notice that the swelling and bruising around your eyes will increase at first, reaching a peak after two or three days. Applying cold compresses will reduce this swelling and make you feel a bit better. In any case, you’ll feel a lot better than you look. Most of the swelling and bruising should disappear within two weeks or so. (Some subtle swelling-unnoticeable to anyone but you and Dr. Jindal, will remain for several months.)

If you have nasal packing, it will be removed after a few days and you’ll feel much more comfortable. By the end of one or, occasionally, two weeks, all dressings, splints, and stitches should be removed.

Most Rhinoplasty patients are up and about within two days, and able to return to school or sedentary work a week or so following surgery. It will be several weeks, however, before you’re entirely up to speed.

Avoid strenuous activity (jogging, swimming, bending, and sexual relations-any activity that increases your blood pressure) for two to three weeks. Within a week or two, you’ll no longer look as if you’ve just had surgery. Still, healing is a slow and gradual process. Some subtle swelling may be present for months, especially in the tip. The final results of Rhinoplasty may not be apparent for a year or more

facelift

As people age, deep creases form between the nose and mouth; the jaw line grows slack and jowly; folds and fat deposits appear around the neck.

A facelift can’t stop this aging process. What it can do is “set back the clock,” improving the most visible signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening underlying muscles, and re-draping the skin of your face and neck. A facelift can be done alone, or in conjunction with other procedures such as a forehead lift or eyelid surgery.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A FACE LIFT?
The best candidate for a facelift is a man or woman whose face and neck have begun to sag, but whose skin still has some elasticity and whose bone structure is strong and well-defined. Most patients are in their forties to sixties, but facelifts can be done successfully on people in their seventies or eighties as well.

A facelift can make you look younger and fresher, and it may enhance your self- confidence in the process.

ABOUT FACE LIFT SURGERY
In general, Dr. Jindal separates the skin from the fat and muscle below. Fat may be trimmed or suctioned from around the neck and chin to improve the contour. He then tightens the underlying muscle layer, pulls the skin back, and removes the excess. Sutures secure the layers of tissue and close the incisions.

There usually is no significant discomfort after surgery; if there is, it can be lessened with the pain medication. Some numbness of the skin is quite normal; it will resolve over the coming weeks and months.

Most of your stitches will be removed after about five to seven days. Your scalp may take longer to heal, and the stitches in your hairline will be left in about one week longer.

RECOVERY FOLLOWING FACE LIFT SURGERY
You should be up and about in a day or two, but plan on taking it easy for the first week after surgery. Be especially gentle with your face and hair, and the areas of your incisions around your ears.

By the third week, you’ll look and feel much better. Most patients are back at work about two or three weeks after surgery. If you need it, special camouflage makeup can mask most bruising that remains.

The chances are excellent that you’ll be happy with your facelift- especially if you have realistic expectations and realize that it may take a few weeks to really look your best. Men may find they have to shave in new places, such as behind the neck and ears, where areas of beard- growing skin have been repositioned.

You’ll have some scars from your facelift, but they’re usually hidden by your hair or in the natural creases of your face and ears. In any case, they’ll fade within time and should be scarcely visible.

chin agumentation

Dr. Jindal uses chin implants to improve and enhance jaw line contours and proportions. Frequently, these implants will help provide a more harmonious balance to your face and features so that you feel better about the way you look.

There are many shapes and contours of chin implants available. They may help strengthen a jaw line or bring the chin into balance with the rest of the face.

Dr. Jindal will frequently use such implants to bring better balance to the features of a younger patient. For instance, a teenage girl may want her nose reshaped with rhinoplasty or her chin brought forward so that these traits are better proportioned.

brow lift

A forehead lift or “brow lift” is a procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes. The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired. Most patients are pleased with the results of a forehead lift because, often, patients don’t realize how much their sagging forehead and brows contributed to the signs of aging around their eyes until they see how much younger and more rested they appear after the lift.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A BROW LIFT?
A forehead lift is most commonly performed in the 40-60 age range to minimize the visible effects of aging. However, it can also help people of any age who have developed furrows or frown lines due to stress or muscle activity. Individuals with inherited conditions, such as a low, heavy brow or furrowed lines above the nose can achieve a more alert and refreshed look with this procedure. Patients who are bald, who have a receding hairline, or who have had previous upper-eyelid surgery may still be good candidates for forehead lift. Dr. Jindal will simply alter the incision location or perform a more conservative operation.

ABOUT BROW LIFT SURGERY
In a forehead lift, the muscles and tissues that cause the furrowing or drooping are altered to smooth the forehead, raise the eyebrows and minimize frown lines. The incision is hidden approximately 2 1/2 inches behind the hairline. No hair will be shaved during the procedure.

Forehead lift is sometimes performed in conjunction with a facelift to provide a smoother overall look to the face. Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) may also be performed at the same time as a forehead lift, especially if a patient has significant skin overhang in the upper eyelids in addition to sagging brows. Sometimes, patients who believe they need upper-eyelid surgery find that a forehead lift better meets their surgical goals.

RECOVERY FOLLOWING BROW LIFT SURGERY
You will be told to keep your head elevated for several days following surgery to keep the swelling down. Swelling may also affect the cheeks and eyes, however, this should begin to disappear in a week or so. As the nerves heal, numbness on the top of your scalp may be replaced by itching. These sensations may take as long as six months to fully disappear. If bandages are used, they will be removed a day or two after surgery. All stitches or clips will be removed within two weeks, sometimes in two stages.

Although you should be up and about in a day or two, plan on taking it easy for the first few days after surgery, and not exercise for two weeks. You should be able to shower and shampoo your hair within two days, or as soon as the bandage is removed. Most patients are back to work or school in a week to 10 days.

Most of the visible signs of surgery should fade completely within about one to two weeks. Minor swelling and bruising can be concealed with special camouflage makeup. You may feel a bit tired at first, but your energy level will increase as you begin to look and feel better.

But with over hybrid technique of liposuction and areolar keyhole surgery, the procedure takes just one hour and one can get into shape the same day. there is no need for admission and same day discharge is done. And the patient can resume his exercises and other activities the same day. Contact us for more details or call for an appointment. we promise to give you great looks you dream of.

BLEPHAROPLASTY

Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery (technically called Blepharoplasty) is a procedure that makes eyes appear more youthful and “wide-awake.” This popular procedure removes fat, usually along with excess skin, from the upper and lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes – features that not only make you look older and more tired than you feel, but may even interfere with your vision. Blepharoplasty can be performed alone, or in conjunction with other facial surgery procedures such as a facelift or browlift.

ABOUT BLEPHAROPLASTY SURGERY
Blepharoplasty usually takes one to two hours, depending on the extent of the surgery. In a typical procedure, Dr. Jindal makes incisions following the natural lines of your eyelids; in the creases of your upper lids, and just below the lashes in the lower lids. The incisions may extend slightly into the crow’s feet or laugh lines at the outer corners of your eyes. Working through these incisions, he separates the skin from underlying fatty tissue and muscle, removes excess fat, and often trims sagging skin and muscle. The incisions are then closed with very fine sutures.

If you have a pocket of fat beneath your lower eyelids but don’t need to have any skin removed, Dr. Jindal may perform a Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty. In this procedure the incision is made inside your lower eyelid, leaving no visible scar. It is usually performed on younger patients with thicker, more elastic skin.

RECOVERY FOLLOWING EYELID SURGERY
For the first few days, you may experience mild irritations, tearing, sensitivity to light, and occasionally mild, temporary changes in your eyesight, such as blurring or double vision. Dr. Jindal will follow your progress very closely for the first week or two. The stitches will be removed approximately one week after surgery. Once they’re out, the swelling and discoloration around your eyes will gradually subside, and you’ll start to look and feel much better. You should be able to read or watch television after two or three days.

Most people feel ready to go out in public (and back to work) in a week to 10 days, earlier if wearing sunglasses. By then, depending on your rate of healing and the doctor’s instructions, you’ll probably be able to wear makeup to hide the bruising that remains. It is wise to keep your activities to a minimum for three to five days, and to avoid more strenuous activities or exercise for about two weeks. Healing is a gradual process, and your scars may remain slightly pink for several weeks or more after surgery. Eventually, though, they’ll fade to a thin, nearly invisible white line.

tummy tuck

Abdominoplasty, known more commonly as a “tummy tuck,” is a major surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and to tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall. The procedure can dramatically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen. But bear in mind, it does produce a permanent scar, which, depending on the extent of the original problem and the surgery required to correct it, can extend from hip to hip.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR TUMMY TUCK?
The best candidates for tummy tuck surgery are men or women who are in relatively good shape but are bothered by loose abdominal skin that won’t respond to diet or exercise. The surgery is particularly helpful to women who, through multiple pregnancies, have stretched their abdominal muscles and skin beyond the point where they can return to normal. Loss of skin elasticity in older patients, especially that which occurs after weight loss, can also be greatly improved.

A complete abdominoplasty usually takes three to four hours, depending on the extent of work required. Lower abdominoplasty (or “Mini Abdominoplasty”) to treat only the lower abdomen may take about two hours.
